International Council for Open and Distance Education is a non-governmental, non-profit organization in formal consultative relations with UNESCO and serves as the global membership organization for online, open and flexible education. 

ICDE is committed to the new global sustainability development goal: “Education 2030: Towards inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning for all”. ICDE, focusing on higher education, provides a global network for institutions, associations and individuals involved in this area.

ICDE is seeking volunteers: Database and global outreach

Education is a key response to many of the global challenges – and we need volunteers to help us coming out wider and better with our messages, initiatives and services. 

We are looking for volunteer colleagues that can help with our membership and contact database, updating information, including new, prepare target groups for global outreach and more.

We would be happy if the person can join us as soon as possible.

Applicants should have the competences and capability to work actively, independently and in a team to have achievements for ICDE during a time of change. Passion for education and international collaboration is a must.

Since English is the working language of ICDE, the applicant should have a  good standard of spoken and written English,.

We are looking for a volunteer colleague that can help with project support and administration for achieving availability and use of better and affordable educational materials (Open Education Resources), and inclusive equitable and quality education.

We wish the person to join us as soon as possible.

Applicants should have the competences and capability to work actively, independently and in a team to have achievements for ICDE during a time of change. Passion for education and international collaboration is a must.
